Des,
There is no bloodly time difference between Melbourne and Sydney. However there is for Brisbane

Melbourne TV times, is what I meant.
I'll run a check on that now.

Make sure you give a post of amended times for Syd if that is the case Des. Hate to see anyone missing out on a quarter or two of football.

Foxtel tv times are usually standard aren't they?

Yeah, Foxtel are - so the Foxtel times would be the same across the country UNLESS there were two games on simultaneously, then there may be differences across states. As for FTA coverage, I can't imagine Pre-season games being shown in Sydney at 730 on a Friday evening....

Full coverage details (but unfortunately no local tv times) can be found here: http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=71069

My access on Foxtel was going to last until March 2003, now they are changing that to 12 months since subscription.
NOT HAPPY JAN!

Free to air will be even more different. Ch 9 showed absolutely none of the pre-season cup at all last year:( , so unless they lift their game then any game listed as a Ch 9 game would only be a replay on Fox.

Channel Nine show the footy at 7.40pm in Sydney - I'd like to see that!

Wonderful - we've had something like one game in two years that has been televised on free-to-air, and now we're going to miss at least the first round here.
Admittedly, the only pre-season game I've seen recently had Ball and Kelly both going off injured and missing a fair part of the season, so perhaps it is best this way... :)

Down to the pub to watch this one, unfortunately Brisbane appear to be taking the pre-season alot more seriously this year. They are aiming to do the double according to the article about a week ago in the sun. Bring 'em down Swans!
