Said they have too much class for us - we will lose by 5 - 8 goals. A fair thumping.

So we canb be thankful that at least it won't be another close game at least

Noticing though that the tide of opinion seems against us.

Top Brownlow finishes to Cousins Kerr and Judd seem to have left everyone thinking they have too much class.

That is fair enough - they should be clear favourites IMO

I bet you they tipped Essendon to win the GF at the beginning of the year. Very successful tippers those two.

Yes they were like sucked eggs - Sheedy and Lloyd they are enough to make me spew.
Like to be underdogs - have a good feeling after their game last week the Swans will win

At least we know that there won't be too many Swans making the IR team this year (of which Lloyd is a certainty according to the new coach)

What people forget is that they polled very few votes after round 18. Yes, Cousins is a worthy winner, but almost all of their votes were collected prior to round 17.

And both had very few votes away from the confines of Subi.

Great football judges those two - that's why Essendon are in the finals.

Let's face it, the majority of the football world is in love with the WC midfield and think Judd is the best thing since sliced bread. Of course they'll tip WC.

The reality - reputations count for nothing on GF day, the Swans form has been irresistable and WC have really struggled away from Subi since we beat them in Sydney.

Plus we have blokes that never give up in Kirk and J.Bolton who couldn't give a stuff how many Brownlows Judd and Cousins have.

Like that "Eagles Flying High" site you claimed to frequent? I assumed it must be purveying smoking paraphernalia but I now see it has far more prurient raison d'etre. Shame Cow Shame.

Yeh i wouldn't really look much into wat sheedy says. He never gives Sydney any credit. I have very rarely seen him tip Sydney

I don't understand this "brownlow" thingy. Sydney Swans have the largest number of the Brownlow winners of all the clubs and yet they won very few premierships.
All that is rubbish. I agree that having so many quality players is fantastic, but in the end it's the 22 players on the field that will decide who will win it.

Sheedy went ballistic before round 1 this year when none of the so called experts tipped Essendon to make the top 8. Called them all morons and said he would gaurantee Essendon would be in the top 8.

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for one of these journalists to revisit it and confront him.

No luck yet they are all scared of him.

It all works for us - the Brownlow votes, Sheeds and the concoon of WA. They are gods. Then reality hits on Saturday afternoon.
