Did some reading before the game...think it was the Herald Sun (can't find the exact line, related article in the Aus - http://tinyurl.com/a2nvk) that talked about the formation of the leadership group, team goals and rules in 2003 by Roos and Maxfield with the help of a 'leaderhsip' consultant.
The contents of the rules are not made publuc but it's the team's job to enforce the rules if a players slips. The article mentioned three basic principles though -
No excuses, no short-cuts, no surrender.
