If Brad misses the next 6 weeks , then I think his chances of returning to the Seniors are slim. Although his hardness in a finals series would be handy.
Brad wants to play more, not Seymour

Sydney defender Brad Seymour has been watching his team succeed on the field while struggling with having to deal with a succession of injuries which have sent him to Queensland this week to consult a specialist.
Heading into the ?bye? week, Sydney is entrenched in the top four with an 8-4 record but although thrilled for the team Seymour finds it tough on the sidelines ? whether the team is winning or losing.
?It?s not the best time in my career as you can imagine, but I have a young family and that keeps me sane at the moment,? Seymour told afl.com.au.
?You [just feel you] are not contributing, you are just sitting there and not helping them win or lose or at least try to win if they lose, but that?s the way it is and everyone who is injured goes through it so you?ve just deal with it.?
After recovering from a pre-season shoulder reconstruction, Seymour strained his calf a week before the season and then subsequently strained his hamstring, before straining it for a second time.
?Hopefully [my hamstring is] improving but I won?t be back in the near future?. I am hoping to return in six weeks.?
Sadly, the 27-year-old has managed only 131 games in his nine seasons with the Swans, including between just 12-14 games in each of the past four years, leaving him concerned about his football future on numerous occasions.
?At times when you lose a bit of confidence of course you do [get concerned], but I suppose deep down I am confident in my own ability and I know that I can play and I can get better because I don?t think I have played my best footy yet.?
On a positive note, the Wagga Tigers junior has new learnt aspects of the game from watching from the sidelines, such as positional play.
?Hopefully when I return I will play a few different positions, so I have just been watching those positions more carefully.
?With the set-ups we have got going in the midfield and the forward line just learning basically new moves and positional changes.?
Seymour admits that although the team is going ?terrific?, having ?exceeded all expectations at this stage of the season?, he is confident when fit he will be selected in a senior side that will not only make, but be competitive in the finals this year.
