Did anyone here happen to tape the 2006 grand final & get the channel 10 news at the end?

I'm pretty sure most recording would have ended at the first throw of the remote

They used to say that the fastest recorded unit of time was between the traffic light turning green in New York and the car behind you tooting his horn...now I reckon it's the time between the final siren and the click of the remote at the end of the 06 Gf in a Swan's home!

I still haven't seen the replay of The GF 2006 & probably never will
2005 is a different story though I watch the build up & game all the time!!!!!!!

all i seen of the game was the last 30 seconds and i wouldnt want to see anymore than that.

I watched the GF in Los Angeles LIVE, but only saw the last half of the match.
Despite the result I'd like to see the whole game. I did ask a few people tape the match for me, but of course something happened to the tape etc...:rolleyes:

Trust me, as a Sydney supporter, the first half is not something you need to watch.

I thought about buying the Swans 2006 Highlights recently, as there were actually quite a few of those. But given I know how the story ends I wondered if I wasnt spending $30 on something I'd watch once, go outside & kick the neighbours cat & then use as a drinks coaster thereafter.

Has anyone bought it? Did it provide any solace whatsoever?

I'll check the tape. I turned it off after the boys walked off the field so I don't know how much more I got on tape.

I checked my tape SS89, I don't have the news, but there is a news update in the last ad break before the tape stops.
Will that do?
Is there something in particular you're looking for?

Yep! With Gemma (SR4E) right behind.

I suspect SS89 is either the painted face or one of his mates.

Thanks Annie but I was after the chan. 10 news after the game, I've been told that I'm on there a few times so im been hanging out to get a copy of it.
