If the Swans are/were a drug free zone, how did dale lewis have such a thorough understanding of the drug scene in the afl, in relation to his publicised statements

Retired in 2001. Roos started coaching senior group midway through 2002.

What does this have to do with the current group of players?? He was talking about the AFL as a WHOLE not the Sydney Swans. This would include Geelong.

Do you dare speak of drugs, after your hero Ablett was convicted of such charges??

Retired Swan Dale Lewis raised a media furor last week when he wrote in a newspaper column that up to 75% of players indulged in recreational drugs. He said speed and ecstasy were popular. He contended that players who used knew of masking agents to get around the periodic drug tests. He also said some were savvy as to how long the drugs would remain in their systems.

my point is he must be everywhere,
or use a sample for his analysis
ie his club, and then extrapolate it further

as for ablett he is a good christian, understands the wrongs he has commited, however he has been forgiven, gave birth to 2 sons
