Thanks for the info Reggi.

Given that player numbers are still not updated on the official website, is there any chance you could provide a full list of numbers, or at least the numbers of the new kids and any existing players who have changed number since last season?

Thanks muchly, Reggi!

Looks like no-one has changed number. Was expecting them to maybe give a higher number to Sundqvist. Looks like he needs another year to prove he's a long term prospect.

Bolton has got a big number to fill, but not nearly as big as Hunt :)

I thought that Heath might try out a rookie # this year -- new start and a change of fortune.

I think my memory serves me correctly re fathers' numbers.....

Heath now has his dad's number(18). Hopefully it will allow him to fly like Max.

Dempster's dad's number could be available soon too (13).

I hope that height of 190cm is not for ryan o'keefe, cause he isnt 190cm - no way

Jeeezzzz......

Who did McVeigh upset so badly that he was given the evil number of death???

Bit unfair - Lewie was a solid contributor to the club over a decent length of time, even if he did frustrate at times.

I have a bit more sympathy for Dempster - 26 has been worn by Brockman and Feast in recent times!

I know Lizz... but the two words I think of when I hear the number 3 are useless (Daffy) and waste (Lewis).

There is a hex on that number. I know it.

lizz is right - 26 is the number of death - poor Dempster

Brockman, Feast, Coughlan, Corcoran, Myles

can anyone remember the last good #26 we had?

as for #3 - Daffy may have been a dud - but Lewie was pretty good - as was Gerard Healy before him.

Reggi - can you tell me for sure if Declan O'Mahony decided to play for the Swans? If so how come Swans haven't released a news story on him?

Can't wait for the first bounce of the game tomorrow. Hope we win and our young ones show us what they capable of.

What des everyone think of Ball? Will he come good? Are we nursing a croc and should of off-loaded him?

O'Mahoney was selected in the rookie draft. He is with us.

I know he was selected in December - but he went home for Christmas and was to make up his mind if he would play for Swans or stay in Ireland? If he has come back to us that is a good sign.

Thanks for reply Charlie

I like Ball, but I get the feeling that he'll retire well before the end of this year. He doesn't seem to be getting over his injury...DOH!!!

CARNA BLOODS!

Yeah unfortunantly I have the same gut feeling about Ball as Jimmy does. Hope we are both wrong. I'd love to see him out on the paddock performing well again.

Well if he is injured we have taken a big risk in keeping him because that leaves Doyle and Goodes in ruck. I think we'll see Menklejohn sooner than we expected if Ball is injuried long term.

Maybe Ball is being rested during the pre season to get him ready for Round 1 - remember he did get injuried in the Wizard Cup last year

If anyone truely cares about what jumper they wear then they are truely insane. Just get to the ball, pick it up, dodge, weave, duck, bounce, handball (to yourself), and pick it up and kick the goal...........................sounds easy doesn't it!

I'm surprised Goodes hasn't gone for a lower digit.

I'm not!

IMHO once you have played a good number of senior games in a number, you're copping it for the rest of your career at that club. Goodes' number is #37 - I couldn't imagine him wearing any other.

guys like O'Keefe, Fixter, Mathews, Doyle etc.. all moved to lower numbers after only a couple of years, and didn't see much (if any) senior footy in their older numbers. Much as Jude Bolton is now always going to be #24, Crouch #28, Warfe #33 etc.
