Echuca defeated Shepparton in the Preliminary final of the Riverina League over the weekend. Here's a section of the newspaper report from the Riv.
Doing it easy through the midfield and streaming forward, Echuca was on top of the game as frustration set in for the Swans, who put up little resistance. They did however manage four goals from the few inside 50s for the term, but majors were few and far between. Luke Jarjoura was reported for a knock on Brendan Rinaldi as the Swans ended the game in disappointing style.
