Also Jude-YAY

It's funny how pre-season, some pundits were convinced that old-man J Bolton must be on the verge of retirement, then come the season: he's playing some of the best games of his career.

He's from the same mold as Kirky; I hope he kicks on at least another 2-3 years, barring unforeseen damage.

least kennellys arm seems to have stopped popping out every 2nd week, playing well so far this season

Someone had better tell Jude Bolton he's an old man!!

So far he's our third longest serving Swan after MickyO and Goodesy.

Can he outlast Micky and Adam??

I doubt Jude would retire after being in contention for All Australian this year.

At the end of last year, the Swans games record stood thus:

303 Games Micky O (1995 - 2009)
276 Games Adam (1999 - )
257 Games Jude (1999 - )

Current sequences of consecutive games at end of 2010 (so add this year's games) :

131 games Jude - sequence started R14, 2005
50 Kieren Jack
48 Adam, started EF, 2008

So there is no reason why both Jude and Adam shouldn't beat Micky O's record.

I've noticed that as well. The club appears to have found an effective training and/or recovery regimen for him.

I was skeptical about the way he'd become so prone to injury before he went back to Ireland in 2009, but he's been playing well so far this season, and (touch wood), seems more assured than last year.

buh wha?

He's averaging 20 disposals, I can't recall him being soundly beaten by any opponent and he has brought the ball from defence quite well.

I agree, after coming into the side late after injury he has progressed well and we need cool heads in defence and the run he provides thru the inside is great, He and Mal are the best half back flankers wed have, one MIGHT swap one for Heath Shaw, but I wouldn't. Jude can play on one leg, like Kirky did, and still make an impression on the game
