Just watched MikePyke and Big Ted on Swans Tv. Anyone else notice that Mike's canadian accent is now seriously laced with Australian? :D

Ahh, a man of many talents. I once heard him turn on a Scottish brogue courtesy of a stint of playing club rugby over there.

He's actually really good to listen to. He was interviewed on ABC radio before the match and was very entertaining.

It's so weird how Scottish Pyke's Canadian accent sounds. Apparently that's unique to a certain part of Canada, can't remember which though.

The whole of Canada says "aboot" and the like but the East Coast has the Celtic music thing. Strangely, as Canadians live here for a while (a decade or so) their accent changes through Scottish and Cockney before settling for something mid-Pacific.
