Apologies if this was posted before, I was in India for the month of December.
Like the idea of a development coach but defense may be a worry for this season..........

Using a Forward as a Defensive Coach is genius IMO. I don't know if other clubs do it or not.
Who would know how to stop a forward better than a forward ...

That was my point exactly. Set a thief to catch a thief, as it were. This way, he knows how the other side is thinking.

Malcolm Blight took him to St Kilda and he was doing a great job with their younger kids until Blight was sacked and out of loyality left the club with Blight. I think he is a great pick up. But still only time will tell
