View Full Version : Collingwood Ferals!

They really are a unique breed of supporter.

At the end of the game one of the ferals, stood above the player race and hurled abuse at the players and Swans fans. Although we were outnumbered he got a mouthful from those close by.

Then afterwards my kids wanted to wait outside the players rooms, the security was tight, about 10 security guards outside the rooms, making sure that the "feral" swan kids, with an average age of about 10 didn't get too close to the players. It all collapsed as most of the people waiting outside the rooms were actually the players family and the players totally disregarded the security and just mingled and signed autographs.

No sign of Joffa during the game, however he was spotted my my son waiting outside the Collingwood rooms in Abbot St. Jarrod was heard to say something about ugliness personified.

At half time a Photographer from the Herald Sun wanted to take a pic of a group of Swans fan, the Collingwood supporters were asked nicely if they could move for 5 mins, the begrudenly did so, then a women standing behind up proceeded to hold up her Collingwood Flag, and made a big to do when the photographer asked her if she would put the flag down.

Everyone should experience at least one game at Vic park in their life time just to realise how lucky we are that we no longer have to play there.

Where I was standing during the match, I encounted no problems whatsoever and in fact during the match was deep in discussion with a few around me.

Hi AnniSwan,

Looked out for you but didn't manage to run into you.

We were also at the players race afer the game. That bloke was just itching to have a go at Davis.

Oh well can't blame them, we have Nick Davis they have Leon Davis, that must really hurt. That Didak is also a cream puff, looks good going one way but he doesn't like it the other way.

Hopefully will be able to run into you on Friday night at optarse oval.

Very funny - and they must spew that they did not swap Didak for Stevens - Stevens is a far far better player - a no brainer really.

Nick Stevens is a gun

Yeah your description of looking out for 3 guys with a yellow ball lead me to ask 2 people are you Daniel, I gave up after that. Pretty sure we'll be sitting behind the goals at the Legends Stand End on Friday.

I still can't believe they didn't complete that trade.

God knows what was going on down at Collingwood when they made that decision.

Its cos Didak has achieved cult status down there. I dont know what he has actually done in his short career so far, but thats Magpies' blind stupidity for you.

Yeah anni I had to look twice at first to make sure I was reading the collingwood board. But then my concerns were over when I read this little bit at the end of the first url you posted...

"Someone asked what happened to the 2 TV's that the squad won last year.
Cameron said he didn't know. "

That comment just made me laugh and brought me back into the reality that collingwood supporters are just a bunch of thieving scum. :D

I reckon the following is a corker

As for the bell, what a stupid idea!!! I was in the CS when a certain unofficial who now resides in the front row was one of the main instigators for getting a 73yr old man thrown out of the G on a Friday night when the Pies played the swans. This old man would ring his bell every time the swans kicked a goal, sure enough we heard it a few times in the 1st qtr and people complained. Once he was asked to stop he refused and was escorted out, tearing up his m/ship in the process, all this whilst the unofficials boasted in their glory. Might have helped if you had consulted the club / AFL over whether you can use a bell as the bell is used as an emergency for when the siren fails, as it did last year.

then the reply from Joffa

Well over 2 years ago mick we sent a letter to the sydney football club apologising the way we all carried on that day resulting in 'the bellman from sydney having his bell conviscated..we got a sincere and lovely response, actually mick i did tell bellman to shove the bell up his arse dont know if he heard me or not, but for what its worth i wasnt the one who went to security.

My understanding of the Didak/stevens trade was that Didak refused to be traded to port (or at least refused terms).

Sure Pies fans are dumb, not sure their football dept is that dumb! As was said, it is a no brainer !

Could be wrong, but was definately reported at the time ?

Have you ever seen such a pack of uneducated @@@@s. You really want to see what has gone wrong with the world and why things like population control should be taken into strong consideration, goto nicks board.

Well they want to get arty students from swinburn to make their placards etc for them, well i can do the same for us.

I can make some funky banners for us this year.

Oh another thing, i had to decipher most of the threads, as Grammar doesn't seem important.

Diego, stop being so elitist. Collingwood, have a very large number of supporters, and not all supporters of a very large support base are going to be well educated, and nor should they have to be, considering, not everyone chooses to be part of the 'educated' white collar workforce.

I'm a Collingwood supporter, and I'm in my third year at Monash, but I guess that because I'm a Collingwood supporter, I'm uneducated, toothless, and have no job. Get a clue.

Mate, we're just having a laugh. Were you at the game on Saturday? Did you see/hear/smell that moron at the race?

We KNOW that stereotypes aren't really representations of what people are like. I KNOW that you, Daicos4Ever, NickThePieMan, MarkT, Squeak, Nic and Locky are all perfectly smart people. I also know that Collingwood has more than its share of braindead supporters. For fun and the continuation of footy traditions, we stereotype. You lot do it with your representation of Swans fans as a bunch of white-collar chardonnay sippers who only wear red and white when its in fashion. Don't bite at harmless ribbing.

Maybe it was Rhyce Shaw, or Jason Cloke, or even both.

and now his ghost lives in the clock (bell) tower above the members stand at the SCG just waiting for the day he can seek his revenge ..... I guess it's fitting, Notre Dame (where we get our song from) had a Hunch Back. We've got a Bellman.

Sorry but I find this very amusing. And am having fun thinking of bizarre images that go with this Bell Tower scenario. It's almost Scooby Doo like. When we rip off the Bellman's mask who will we find???? ;)

The people on the committee could be mistaken as being friends of Tony Soprano ...

Louie Cabral, Joffa Corfe, Frankie Featherstone, Chris Glitzos, Johnny Taranto.
