Malceski having Mckay moved on to him sounds promosing.

From early accounts this years drafting may prove to be one of the most successful yet.

Only time will tell but hears hoping

it seems to be a successful draft for the swans this year. we seem to have picked up some good young players, nick Malceski has been playing well when given the chance and he will only get better!!
isn't this the point of trial games!! giving the young players the chances to prove what they can do before the season starts and they won't get the chances so frequently. also it gives those senior players coming back from injury the chance to get some match fitness before the season starts. so don't expect the injured players to be back to their best right away and especially not against teams that have their full lists playing immediately.
basically trial games form means nothing once the season starts and the swans have to get used to not having dunks & kellza playing week in week out, that hole will take some getting used to.

Always nice to win but Roos looks to be really giving the kids a work out by trying them in different positions without fear of the result.

I can't believe Pagan said it was a confidence builder! Why didn't he just put the Blues up against the local under 16s?

Well when you look like you can't even win the booby prize in a chook raffle, any win will boost confidence. What else was he supposed to say?
