Pocket profile for Dean Towers

On Deano's pocket profile he said his favourite place to visit is Cobden. Isn't that where Gary Rohan comes from? I seem to remember when Gary rang in after his broken leg he came on air as 'Gary from Cobden' or am I mistaken?

It's also very close to where Towers himself is from - Colac. Just the next town.

You're not mistaken. Gary is from Cobden and played in a neighbouring footy league to Dean. Cobden is a very small town amongst farm land. There is a large dairy factory in the town, a rather nice golf course (maybe that's the attraction for Dean?) and a miniature railway. Or maybe it's the local hotel?? Or possibly even a visit with Gazza. I don't think they would have known each other before becoming a part of the Sydney Swans.
