Sad to see that Craig Bird was delisted by the Bombers.

I will always remember him as a loyal, hard working Swan who was burdened with the 14 and wore it proudly, without fuss but with respect and humbleness.

A 2008 Swans Rising Star and 2012 premiership player, this no frills tagger gave the most to his career with the ability that he had, hopefully his 137 games will one day give us a father son.

Well done Craig Bird on a well earned career.

Yes he was an unassuming but willing contributor for several years. He also played an important role at Essendon during the season where they had many players missing due to the ban.
