Living in Melbourne im finding it really hard to get any idea how the ressies are going except get the scores on this site,is there anyone who can tell me who of the young players if any are making good inroads, seem to see the name Maglone in our best all the time what position does this boy play and why havent we seen him in the 1sts,also just interested about the actual level of the comp we are playing in as the V.F.L this year is quite a high standard just wondering if we were missing out on this in the A.C.T league.

Question of the Month! Surely they HAVE to give Scooter a run soon! He gets match high possessions every week, is BOG every week, is talked about every week. Do us a favour and give the kid a game to show us what he has please!!

The standard of the ACT League is average. It is a very physical competition and we are oftern outsized it seems. There are some big boys around in the Riverina these days. Its good playing in it as it allows the boys to stay local and have a good run to find their feet in the big time. It also offers valuable match fitness to players that require it (Schneider soon) and allows em to get a lot of possessions and return in fine form. Although the quality isnt extremely high, its ideal for our situation.

Players coming through that have shown a bit include Mcglone, Dempster, Thewlis, Willoughby and Scmidt. They have al shown something from the few games iv been able to attend due to exams, i think someone else will be able to enlighten u somewhat more.

Thankyou very much appreciate it,wonder was it just money the reason we left the V.F.L because ive heard alot of players say that playing in that league was great and they always got good support down here too playing with the borough.
