I suggested Vogels yesterday.

Vogels is playing KP forward in the 2's

My guess would be campbell because he's been playing FB and can go in the ruck if need be.

Grundy, cause he knows how to get the footy, unlike our "athletes" (yes LRT I'm talking to you!)

He's also been probably the least impressive of the three tall rookies thus far this season.

Only if the indefinite is 12 weeks, otherwise we are stuck with a fit Doyle not being able to play anywhere (and that includes reserves) which serves no one any good.

Unless it is a season ending injury from here it is unlikely anyone will be elevated.

We can however play our nominated rookie at any point, but no one seems to know it is?

The 3 being Vogels, Campbell and ??? Who's been the most impressive? Any real "likelys" among them?

Grundy is the other- 15 goals in the past two weeks in the twos.

Earl Shaw (The Big Earl)

Liz, i agree that Campbell has been the least impressive out of the lot but he hasn't really been given the opportunity to really impress considering how much we are dominating the reserves comp.

We can elevate any rookie we want....but only one without a long term injury ...or retirement.

Why can't they just retire at least 2 of Doyle, James ,Fixter and Sunny and elevate a couple of rookies - preferably Vogels and Grundy. At least give them a chance. The above players don't have the bodies to make it at AFL level. Sydney is not a charity institution and shouldn't elect to carry these players who not only contribute nothing to the club but they prevent others from being given a chance and they frustrate the supporters(and probably the club) no end.

What about Saddington? on the Swans site it said he was also out but did not say what the injury was or how long.

Bloody oath. I'm not shocked.
