Their session has just ended and their vice-captain has been officially ruled out (Jones). Sounds like Matera and Brett Jones will be at least named.

You certainly do - but at the same time anything that interferes with West Coast's planning and flexibility come Saturday has to be a good thing.Originally posted by Bart

Here's hoping that Matera and B. Jones both play, and neither see out the first quarter.
We hate Anthony Rocca
We hate Shannon Grant too
We hate scumbag Gaspar
But Leo WE LOVE YOU!
If they rush Matera back then well and good. If they do it shows they are as good as admitting they have a forward line problem.
I am rather upset to hear it. Braun is a fantastic player, and quite a lovely chap. Terrible to see him miss a Grand Final through injury after contributing so much during the season.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Only game of the year he has missed.Originally posted by stellation

I hope Matera does play - Crouch will squeeze the life out of him. And then move on to the next victim.Originally posted by cruiser
Matera's the one I'm really hoping doesnt play.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Hardie said that Jones would have played on Kennelly so they'll have to adjust their match-ups.
