And you guys want to sack benny!!!!

    Give Chambers the ass...

    What's 10% of FA??

Rather 10% of 5'10" when you're actually 6'8" (??), didn't see mathews giving the ruckmen much of a contest for hitouts, I am by no means convinced that Chambers is going to be a good ruckman, but the ruck isn't just about stats, now, is it.

The only thing guaranteed when Benny gets the ball, is an unspectacular result, probably not the worst player in the league but maybe least interesting to watch play footy.

Which might not be such a bad thing after seeing his kicks against Melbourne.

I reckon give him some time. Rucking is a skill that can take a while to develop and he's certainly improving on his earlier efforts (still a way to go, tho').

With game time & confidence he might become useful.

Maxwell Smart: "Just once, but I don't think you expected him to lift you so high."

Just saw the replay of the game and it is amazing how much this guy chases hard for the ball or man when the ball is in dispute.

. . . . . unfortunately on those few occasions that he catches someone it tends to result in a free against.
I'm still a definite "No Sale" on Paul but I do acknowledge this aspect of his play. Although I'm more pleased to see the improvement in his ruckwork (I hope it wasn't just because it was against the Cats), this week against the Lions will be a BIG test.

Well I've never heard of a run-with ruckman but maybe that's exactly the role that Roos has asked him to play.

Paul Chambers. 72 hit outs. Ranked #18 in the AFL. 18th is not bad for a #2 ruckman.

    Jolly is #6 with 123.

    We won by 118 points.
Chambers had 12 HO, 0 kicks, 0 HB, 3 tackles.
    I choose the carbon rod

...providing we can find one 6'8" or longer.
Then again, I'm sure I said the same thing about LRT. What do I know?

A ruckman like Cox/Fraser in the Subiaco game would have had an absolute field day against Richmond today. Would have been another option up forward to further stretch the terrible defence.
