Probably NOT the best example of our ability in the wet.

The Swans were awesome against the Eagles in the Wet at Subi last year. I have such fond memories.

Also in the final at TS a couple of years ago, the 'Shake Down the Thunder' match that nearly got cancelled at half time.

Sure. But it was a win in the end. And they we caught out by the unexpected wet ground and still managed a win.

I think the PF against the Saints in 04 is a more accurate reminder of our abilities in the wet

Why should almost two years ago count more than current games?

I was very impressed with the skills both teams showed with a wet ball at the SCG recently - must have been the Doggies game when it drizzled.

I get the feeling that the last q last week used up a fair whack of petrol tickets which may well have an impact this week, particularly on a heavier ground.

That's possibly true, although there are two potential offsets:

    - St Kilda did much the same thing, staging a big comeback against Melbourne on a big ground, but also failed.

    - The Swans appeared to rest themselves in the first three quarters!!

I feel the opposite. I really feel we will carve the Saints up. This could get really ugly. 60-80pts I reckon.
