Would be stupid if that is the case.Originally posted by adnar

Means that tecnically members could miss out, those days are generally in the dark past.
The use of the word 'may' in the information provided by the club indicates to me that the default position is that it is 1 ticket per member and that at at least one of the potential venues that will be the case. Common sense says that that is the SCG. With any luck the game will be at TS and members will be entitled to 4 tickets each, though 2 is possibly enough. It is nice to be able to sit with your mates but as Liz says, 8 per member sees the good seats disappear pretty quickly.Originally posted by Damien

There are about 25,000 Sydney memberships, plus another 7,000 or so Melbourne ones (of which as many as half may want to travel up). After allowing for the SCG membership, there are not more than about 35,000 seats available at the SCG.
In every single final I have bought tickets to at the SCG (starting in 1996) one has been able to buy one ticket per member.
I am almost as certain the limit has been 4 per ticket at Telstra finals.
Maximum four tix allowed for each member at Telstra. It was stated in an AFL Finals ad in the SMH on Friday. However, in the unlikely event that its held at the SCG, it will be one ticket each member.Originally posted by Damien

Roos just seemed to suggest that he didn't know whether it was going to be at the SCG or TS.

AFL will announce it todanight when the game will be played. Everybody here believes it's going to be on Friday night.
No he didn't, but given both GF teams are entitled to a 7 day break before the Gf, my guess is Fri night/Sat arvo, with us playing Friday night as winner of the 1 v 4 QF, giving the top team the extra advantage in recovery time from the PF (except this time as last year top team has been beaten by 4th team).Originally posted by Damien
