Swans vs Pies @ NSO - Photos

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

    Wow Des.
Those photos are great. You're very talented.
    Thanks for that.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Nice shots Des, great capture of what looks to be moments after Schneider did his hammy. Now we all wish you hadn't captured that moment coz we'd much prefer he hadn't done it...

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

    Outstanding photos Des (as usual!).

    Fantastic photos Des.

Did you take most of those action shots from the seat I saw you in, or were you wandering around the ground, closer to the fence?

I think that is Laidlaw. He seems to be cultivating a ROK circa early 2005 hairstyle - though he still has sometime to go, and can probably wait until Bracken gets back from the World Cup before he needs to put dibs on the hairband.

Laidlaw must have read my posts about loving long hair on a man. Just reinforced himself as my chosen lovechild for the second year running.

10,11,12 and 13 were from the front row of the Bob Stand. Most of the rest were from the fence.

You get best results when you are as low as possible and you get proper separation between the subject and the background. Otherwise you just get a lot of grass

Thanks all for the kind comments. I like taking photos, but can't concentrate on the job properly when there is a REAL game on.. So that's why I always get in my practice at preseaon games, or reserves games.. never a H&A, and certainly not finals
