As soon as he became eligible.
Congratulations Kell, elevation to legend status shouldn't be too far behind.

Almost. He was eligible last year - he retired the same year as Plugger, who was inducted last year. But it is very very few players who get in as soon as they are eligible so a one year wait shows the regard he is held in. Roos had to wait at least one year (might have been two).

Congratulations Paul Kelly, well deserved honour.

Does this now mean we can "un-retire" number 14?

That's a sensational result. Looking back, it was a magnificent treat to watch the Champ's career.

Are there any pics of the Hall of Fame function floating around?

    Thumbs up

Only a matter of time before PK was added to the AFL Hall of Fame, congrats to Captain Corageous.

    Well done Kel. Thoroughly deserved.

I wake up every morning to the sight of Kel taking a mark over Glenn Archer.

    All time favourite.
