A high scoring draw would also help percentage wise. Now that's getting desperate!
Our biggest problem with missing the 4 is not winning 4 straight but the prospect of travel to Adelaide or Perth mixed in. When we won the flag we played away in Perth week 1 home week 2 melbourne week 3 melbourne week 4. Now with the way the ladder could end up you never know we might get something like Home week 1 Away to Port week 2 then away to West Coast Week 3.
We have noone but ourselves to blame though- we should of won tonight, we should of defeated the bombers and we should of really beaten WCE in Rd 1. Those are just 3 games that we have thrown away this year. We have nobody but ourselves to blame for our predicament.
Hard to see the required combos happening- really probably need Port to win tomorrow but then it gives them a massive chance at making the 4 and then a 3 in 4 chance of getting either Geelong WCE or Port away if we make it through week 1. The only two teams I fear come finals time are Geelong or West Coast, but its a very tough ask to expect us to win 4 straight with travelling involved.
Saying that, if we missed the 4 and got the right draw it could be Sydney in week 1 and then Melbourne for the other 3 weeks which would be doable!
Definetly going to be a draw tomorrow.... I can feel it!
