I'm the first to admit I havent a clue about the draft thing, but why are they getting rid of Schneids and possibly Dempster and keeping Bevan, Matthews and McVeigh - cant those 3 go as a job lot?

If it's true, Roos is doing a massive favour to one of his best mates in Ross Lyon. There should be an inquiry.

Maybe because Bevan and McVeigh are not worth much as trade-bait. I think other teams want players who actually play.
Matthews can stay here. He's our workhorse.

what the obsoletesplintered home made wooden work horse that has been overtaken by the Triton workbench? I know that he's a terrific bloke and great club man - but on the field he's not up to scratch. The other prob too is that he is in the leadership group - so they wont be getting rid of one of the clique. (Notice the Jude trade has died down a bit? he's in the LG as well).

Matthews isn't going anywhere. And the leadership group will probably change for 2008.
I hope Schneider stays with us. The reports of both him and Dempster for a second round pick sound like nonsense.
