    2007 Scorecard - #25 Ted Richards

... that'll keep us going now till at least the 7th January (when we all get back from hollies).

    Rate away ...

5/10. I still don't know if he can play. Looks like he can, but goes missing.

He's sort of hot and cold. Would like to see more consistency from him. What's his role in the team anyway?

Good in spots, but not enough spots. 5/10.

5/10 - Definitely hot/cold, had some great games down back taking contested marks but had a real quiet period from Rounds 14-18. Could be used as a KPP but there was talk by commentators to throw him in the forward line.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!!

5/10. Was a bit patchy, but as someone had said when he was good, he was good.

Best year by far from Ted. I thought he played a good support role to B2 when Baz went down and helped keep the hordes at bay when we most needed him to.

I've grown quite fond of Ted. After the first half of a season with the Swans I thought he might be a little soft but then he suddenly seemed to "get it" and since then he has consistently put his body on the line and his head over the ball. I know it's not relevant to this discussion but his efforts in the 2006 GF, where he made plenty of mistakes but ran himself to an absolute standstill, will remain for a long time.

A few super games this year but others when he was outclassed by his opponent. Probably always going to be on the fringes of the best 22 but, like Kirk, I reckon he always gave everything he possibly could.

    6/10
