This is based on where players are at present, but should change as the year goes on as we see a couple of youngsters come into the team, take their chance and remain.

    B: Crouch C Bolton L Barry
    HB: Malceski LRT Kennelly
    C: Fosdike J Bolton Mattner
    HF: R O'Keefe Hall Barlow
    FF: O'Loughlin Playfair Davis
    R: Everitt Kirk Goodes
    I: Jolly McVeigh Ablett Schmidt

Next rank or close to getting their chance:

Richards, Grundy, Moore, Jack, Laidlaw, Thornton, Barbazon, White, D O'Keefe.

I'd swap Richards for Playfair at this stage and have Buchanon, Brennan and Bevan as possible Emergency/Interchange, especially Buchanon.

I knew I left someone out, I would replace a hungry Buchanen for McVeigh,

As for Richards, I just don't see him as a forward and so if Playfair does go forward at first, then he squeezes into the side ahead of him as the defensive six look settled.

Brenan & Bevan are both back-up players pure and simple.

You rate LRT and Mattner that highly?

I rate LRT's structural importance higher than his ability - but most probably living back in '05 when he had a ripper season - yes I do rate LRT.

Mattner: well we seemed to slurp him so quickly in the off-season and with his experience as in outside running mid/wing/defender could add great depth to our side. I want to see what he is worth.

It's just that that's the only two real changes you made to the 07 side.
