i think our youngsters look more capable than first thought and theres a vibe the club will be making changes to game plan and team structure to round one, as opposed to being more preapared.

He's not been happy. We pushed the Hawks all the way with a very inexperienced side, then we thumped the Power, so he had nothing to be negative about. We lose to Richmond, and voila!

It depends on who we play (ie which end they regard as theirs - visitors get the other).

    Roll on Round 1

With one week to go, I am going to say I think we can beat the Saints by about 2-3 goals.

The Saints are going to destroy us in the ruck. If you ask me, White HAS to play if we're to have any chance, but even if he does play, with Everitt out, Saints by 18.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

White's not going to play next week, especially not in the ruck. He played today and didn't contest a single centre bounce (that I saw, anyway). When Currie was resting off the ground, top-up no 50 did most of the centre bounce work. Once they even sent Faulks in there.

Wow. That seems really....odd. I know he's undersized, but surely he'd be a better option than Faulks. I still think it would be crazy not to play him against St Kilda, playing him mostly forward but rotating him through the ruck. Surely it would be better than leaving backup ruck duties to LRT and Richards?

Put LRT in the ruck & the problem is at least reduced if not solved.

LRT is NOT a Centre Half Back. He is just being played there because we lack height in defence (& because players like Richards just haven't come on the way they should have )
