Tasmania will be a great place to have another team.

It will work for sure. You can't say that for the new Gold Coast and West Sydney teams.

As mentioned on SEN...they got 15K in Launceston to Hawks v Crows with no local team involved. Imagine how many they would get to their own team.

Compare that with Sydney....how many would go to a Hawks Crows game up here? Look at the crowds the Roos got up here when they didn't play the Swans....

Way more support that exists in Tassie than there is for a second team in Sydney IMHO.

Move Hawthorn down to Tasmania and call them the Tassie Hawks. It would've been better if the Hawks and Demons merged in 1996, then you'd have the Tassie Devils.
