I notice that the article conveniently left out the fact that she took a run up of twenty metres, used the zimmer frame as a pole vault to launch herslef over the top of a dozen other toothless ferals in the cheer squad, all the while screaming out "Caapppeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"...........
Serves her right really.
Unbelievable!
Does there have to be a sign behind the goals saying,"ENTER AT OWN RISK!"?
But seriously I do feel sorry for the lady but as a supporter sitting behind the goals, you do take that risk of flying shrapnel! It'S WAR ZONE!
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.
Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!
I had a case a few years back for some old Codger at Subiaco who alledged that he tripped over some of the tape that held the Footy record boxes together. He had a bruised face and that was all. His family really pushed the case going for $500,000. came up will all sorts of injuires I recall it settled eventually for about $40K inclusive - the family were not impressed (thinking they would get a good inheritance), but the courts took the view that whilst he deserved something ,the old boy only got some facial bruising and he could still go about his normally daily business, so his payment was minimal and he had to pay his own costs. it happens I guess.

Chickens drink - but they don't pee!
AGE IS ONLY IMPORTANT FOR TWO THINGS - WINE & CHEESE!
As far as I am concerned that is just ludicrus. It is a risk you take when sitting behind the goals. I've been hit a couple of times myself but I accept that that is liable to happen. If you don't want to get hit, don't sit behind the goals.
