No doubt. Is really working hard off the ball.

He was 30 metres alone to grab Bevo's goal if it bounced up and didn't bounce thru on Sat night as another example.

He has taken a heap of grabs alone in the forward 50 this year where he has just sprinted down the corridor whilst the ball has been transferred down a wing. If his opponent doesn't/cannot go with him, it's a huge win.

Pickers has talked McVeigh up so much this season (not unfairly either IMO) that I'm wondering if he is about to join his stable?

I do think that a handful of games where he has found himself wide open in the forward line he's had a guy on him who has got lost and gone to the contest to give help instead of sticking with his man.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

How good will it be when Nick Malceski and Tadhg Kennelly are fully fit and on the park at the same time as running defender Marty Mattner?
A very exciting prospect, although I think it is pretty much happening now.

Sure there has been those times, but a few times he has taken a mark up forward and you think "@@@@, didn't he just......" and you see on the replay he handballs to Tadhg or B2 in our defensive 50, the ball switches out wide and 10 secs later it's sitting in McVeighs arms 25 metres out, directly in front.

That's the kind of gut running he wasn't doing in the past. Mind you, his role may not have allowed him to run off his man like that, but he is doing it brilliantly now.

One of Bevo's goals, the first one I think, against the Wiggles McVeigh was all alone charging to the goal square when Bevo had a shot that bounced through.
I was thinking that was lucky he got it, when he could have easily kicked it to McVeigh for an easy 20m set shot on goal.

Whoops, this point was already made by Triple B

Because Ch9 in Sydney play two games of rugby league.
    It's all about ratings.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Spot on. His "footy brain" has developed. Finally we are seeing the promise.
I was his biggest critic. The only nice thing I could say about last year was that he had noice shoes.

This year ... as a promise somewhere is another thread ... if McHack plays a good game, I have to drive to the speed limit.

I swear I haven't gone over the speed limit for weeks and weeks and weeks!!

It's those damn speed bumps in the footpath that do it.
