    The Longest-Serving Captain Ever

Good to be back in the MA Noble for the after-match tonight. It's the first one they've had there this season.

I'm not sure whether this pic's always been there and I've only just noticed it tonight, or whether it's a new pic - the Barry Round portrait looks impressive:

But his length of service is even more impressive:

Who is the Club's longest serving Captain?

According to the Club it must be Barry Round.

This portrait of him hanging in the Noble Stand has the caption"
    Barry Round
    Sydney Swans captain 1882-1984

Barry will be one of those players claiming Long Service Leave.

    Probably deserves it too!

You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Let me tell you, he is a big man, not just tall, but WIDE, its like if you take 2 normal size men, tape them together side by side, then you get Barry Round. The same goes for Jason"Piggy"Dunstall.

If you think they are big, you should see Brian "The Whale" Roberts. I'm about 6 foot tall and solid, I was told I looked tiny next to him by a friend.
