Thread: Trade Barry Hall?

    Trade Barry Hall?

What do people think about trading Barry Hall?
He's now 31 and we might be able to get 80c on the dollar for him.
His output is way down from what it was 2004-06.

i don't think we'd get 8c in the dollar for him, not on the past season and a half's form.

We couldn't trade him even if we wanted to.

I'm not saying no club would take him. If Hall were to be traded, he would leave the game entirely. We all know why.

Now, every time a Swans player has a major downfall, be it performance or indiscretion, this kind of thread pops up. This should be banned, except in the case of Nick Davis. He's had more RWO threads started on him than he's player Senior games, so it's too late anyways.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Barry Hall has as much trade value as Ben Cousins

The Swans would get more in return if they traded Mathews instead of Hall.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!!

just suspend him for the rest of the year. Our forward line plays better without him there and our midfield suddenly look to kick it to the other 5 or so players leading at them instead of being scared of the big angry bald man. The amount of times he swore and carried on like a pork chop at his fellow team mates during the pies game was an embarrassment to himself and the club. Hes got no worth to the team if he cant handle Wakelin without trying to knock his teeth into his cerebellum and giving away 5 freekicks in about 4 minutes of play.

Are you from planet earth, his output this year (when he has got on the park) has been his best since 2004.

They have done the right thing in sending him away form the club. He should now sit down with a professional to work out what is wrong and then si down with the club and come up with some criteria as to how he can get back into the team.

If that is this year then good, so be it if it is next year.

No. His output in the games he's played this year has been good. It's the two ugly incidents that have been the problem.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. Better than last year but he still doesn't look as good as 04-06.

    Averages per game

    2004: D 14.4, M 8.0, G 3.1, Acc 65%

    2005: D 15.0, M 7.9, G 3.1, Acc 66%

    2006: D 14.6, M 8.6, G 3.1, Acc 67%

    2007: D 11.9, M 6.8, G 2.2, Acc 59%

    2008: D 14.4, M 9.6, G 2.4, Acc 46%
