    Just heard on the news, Amon has got 4 weeks.

    No way was that worth 4 weeks.
    It didn't look like forceful contact to the head, and to me he was protecting himself.
    Maybe a bit careless, and worth maybe 1 - 2.
    We'll be playing Gaelic Football soon.....

    Keep in mind he has about 80 carryover points. That has probably inflated the sentence by 1 weekk.

    what a friggen joke.

    I'm sure we'll fight this one for a lighter sentence. I thought it was worth 2 weeks at most.

    On another note, Goodes was pretty lucky once again not to collect a Dawk player who had his head over the ball.
    McBurney gave him a bit of a talking to.

    He really has to change his style running into a ground contest.

    I agree Jeffers. Had that connected, Goodes would be out 4+ weeks too.

    I didnt think Buchanans was even intended. He would have trampled/kicked the player on the ground had he not changed course. Or I could just be naive?

    Goodes himself was collected with a high hit to the head, can't remember who the culprit was.
