I wouldn't be dropping Vespremi. Showed too much on the weekend. Brennan too. I think Brennan deserves a decent run in the 1s to find his place. I thought his game this week and against the Dogs was solid.

Ablett could do with a rest. He's a good player just down on form.

Eski/Buchanan in for Ablett and maybe Moore. Moore did FA on the weekend.

If Leo plays I think it'll be at the expense of Grundy. Although Grundy played pretty well on the weekend.
Damn that Sorcerer! Twenty gold pieces and I'm wankered on rohypnol!

Both bolded players are on the rookie list. Unless elevated, will not play. In any case, unless something very very strange happens, will not play in 2008.

I think we should drop Spida this week and bring him someone with some fast legs and a good kick. If Melcho was 100% I'd do a straight swap. Maybe Fossie?
Let's really mess with everyone's heads by playing Goodes in the ruck, then rotating through RR and FF.

I must admit I was surprised to see young Ves try to pick up the ball one handed.I don't think we will see that again.

Interesting about Buchanan. He has played a lot in the forward pocket and was quoted in a fluff piece article last week that he has been working on his fitness since he was suspended. Sounds to me his preparation this season hasn't been up to scratch hence lack of midfield time.

Apart from one game this season when I think he kicked 4 his best work has been in the midfield in past years. Appears like he has lost the grunt of 2005 and is of minimal value against a hard running side like Geelong.

He has played some real howlers this year.

    My bobs worth :

    Out : Spida , Ablett , Grundy.
    In : Barry , Malceski , Fossie/Monty

We need RUN against the Cats if we want to be competitive.
Fossie has to be given a run before the Finals and will be tougher now with the new ink on his forearm and we need Monty at the ball in hard , like he was in 2005 to try and break even with their midfield.

Noggy needs a spell , Reg just wont cut it against A1 Quality and Spida is just plain and simply the worst player in the competition.

why change a winning team? Leave em all in there to get smashed by Geelong.

Agree with all who want Ablett out. I say Ablett, Bartel, Scarlett...

    I'm going with:
    In- Barry, Malceski & Brabazon
    Out- Brennan, Ablett & Everitt.

    Reasoning is-
Barry for Brennan- That's obvious to me. It would allow Grundy to go forward again if needed.
Malceski for Ablett- Ablett needs a rest and I still think a half fit Malceski will offer us something.
Brabazon for Everitt- If ever you were going to go into a game with just Jolly and LRT as you rucks the Cats would be it.Ottens tends to rest forward so LRT could follow him.Brabazon would give the side some much needed speed and was very unlucky to be dropped. If nothing it will be a terrific experience for him.

Let Buchanan have a run in the 2s as a few of these guys need to be made an example of.
