At least we finally kicked another goal but it was horrendous to watch.
The forwards are ineffective because the ball isn't getting there! There's a fair bit of effort in the midfield, but they are far, far ahead in pace and skill.

In defence of the team selection, Buchanan and Crouch have been among our best.

Buchanan looks keen to cement his place back in the team - has added a fair bit of creative run so far through the middle.

Was instrumental in setting up that goal for Hall.

I don't mind being smshed by a better team (well, I do), but the umpiring has been crazy biased. Ablett's 50m for gimme goal - joke. Jude gets ridden into the ground - clear push in back - nothing doing. Plenty of other examples. It is almost like the umpires are just focusing on watching Geelong players to ensure they are not infringed, rather than watching the play in general.

BTW, we are not out of of this. I have a feeling we are going to win tonight, umpries willing.

Getting the ball I50 quicker is working much better as Hall should be able to smash the 16-gamer!

Oh good one. Hunt gets spun aorund twice in the tackle and refuses to dispose of it and they give him a free!

Poor old Reg getting towelled up.

What happened to the holding the ball rule?

Crouch and Hally were good in that quarter, thank god for those two.

We've steadied nicely and don't look too far out of it. If we can continue to push the ball forward straight up the middle quickly (Crouch and Buchanan have been particularly good there) then we can be a real threat.

I thought Crouch, Bird and Hall were all good that quarter. We did okay in the middle. Two problems - lack of forward line pressure allowing Geelong to set up uber fast attacking moves and our backline was just turned inside out on this big ground, aided and abetted by the cheating @@@@ing umpires.
