Nico i think that there is a real risk that Chamberlain will play really technical frees in the first quarter. The side that leads to the ball will have a better chance of avoiding a mounting free kick count, particularly in the first quarter. Chamberlain umpires by paying very technical free kicks early to establish a control. He is an umpire that has no "feel"for the game, lacks judgment and is over emotional.

1. We probably did Ok out of the umpires, especially in the second half
2. The umpiring generally over the weekend was a quantum leap from the H&A standard
3. The field umps looked like superstars compared to the goal umps..

Still the holding the ball non calls were laughable, if you are tackled and drop the ball then that is holding the ball (not that it was paid on Sat night)
