Hmmm, wanna bet he goes to the pies and we get Didak and 2nd round pick.

To Demons or west coast. He'd be excited about that!

Perhaps he could join the ex-Swans brigade down at St Kilda.

Kosi + 2nd rounder for ROK and our 3rd rounder?

Wasnt suprised, though still hurts when quality is departing

We have got the best out of Rhino and we now just have to get the right deal done with it now.

@#%@!! Just saw that aswell on the news, he will be a huge loss! We MUST trade him aggresively and get a good deal, although that could be difficult cause he is out of contract. This will however increase the chances of getting kerr as we surely will ask for a top 10 pick as part of a trade for o'keefe.

bad news and terrible man management if he does in fact want to go (It is Channel 10 after all). We would have to tread a careful line between playing hard ball and missing out all together. But would he really want to go to the Dees if he went through to the PSD (As even they would not be stupid enough to not take him if available!). I dont think if the three clubs mentioned are the ones after him and that he is interested in then he will go as far as the PSD as I think most clubs would take him if available in the PSD. He might be a bit older but he has so much to offer for at least another 4 seasons imo.

Surely we can get a highish 1st rounder + maybe a swap of second rounders or something. Could definetly open the door to getting Kerr though if we can get him interested. Or at worst perhaps if he is looking at a Collingwood or Carlton or Hawthorn we can at very least try to sucker out one of their very good youngsters in return.

We will want to get something good in return as it will be a big void to fill (And I will absolutely scream if at another club the coach does what Roos should of done at the start of 07 and give him a true run at CHF!)

I really hate trade time -obviously i know that sometimes we're going to lose good players that i like but it still takes a while to get over .... especially after the last few years when we haven't lost many big-name players!!! very upsetting to see o'keefe want to leave

    Let him go then....

Let's just make sure we get what we can for him.

If we wer to get Lovett or Kerr somehow, I'd think we'd be about even.

Disappointed. But change happens and we ought to get someone very good in return.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

You really rate Lovett as O'Keefe's equal?

I'm just hoping we don't get ripped off and have to watch him dominate for another team next year!!
