    Good on him for putting in at the grass roots - might help the cause up there.
    He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

    He's being paid $25,000 for the season. The club is trying to buy a flag. Chances are it will be the end of the club as Benny will take the cash at the end of the season and leave it to sort its own debt out.

    Its not always the case. I dont know Ben personally, but when you play at a club you give it a bit of your heart. He might choose to stay on as a coach or assistant to help attract some more talent to pay the club back in kind.
