    The premiership had some interesting parallels. The Crims knocked one of our players unconscious in the first quarter (shades of 45) and the match was saved by a mark in our defense in the dying seconds( shades of 05). Whatever the clowns running the club decide to do any victory against the Crims should be celebrated by all with a rough red, glasses raised and a warm inner glow.

    Do you think in the 40's and 50's they were all lamenting how the game wasnt being played the same as thirty years ago.

    Wouldn't it be a nice touch if they wore a replica jumper of the one they wore during the 1909 GF?
