I was a bit concerned with the Freo game this week, they have been coping a pasting in the press and are bound to pull one out soon at home.
But knowing it is Kirky's 200th, I just can't see the boys putting in a sub par effort for someone who is the heart and sole of the club so I am resting easier now.

Good luck in your 200th Kirky.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!!
And thanks to those that have posted their comments here as well. Let's hope it's a nice comfortable win at Subi for the visitors.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

I was going to tip Freo until I realised it was Kirkie's 200th. I believe the Dalai Lama will be wearing his no. 31 jumper all weekend.

Great article.
Heres hoping the boys put up a top performance to celebrate Kirkys 200th.
A great piece about the influence of Kirk's Dad, Noel.

People should not under-estimate the significance of a player like Brett Kirk to our footy club. Indeed it culd be argued that Brett Kirk is a lot of what makes our club what it is. A New South Welshman with often limted skills but the toughness & perserverence to just keep going when things are tough, his career was at he crossroads but he succeeded becaue of his tremendus heart. He asked Roosey where he stood & was told he saw Kirky's future as a tagger. From a player to come from near oblivion to lead his club to a premiership proves the mettle of the fella. Tough honest but withoutan enemy in the game. That's our Brett Kirk!
I will ALWAY remember the way he got up after being flattened in THAT final in Adelaide in 2003. I think most of us will never forget that day & how important things like that are in helping establish a sense of moral & 'culture' within the club.
Congrats on your 200th Brett Kirk! (You Swans players better win for him OK!)
