    Anzac weekend highlights

A dire weekend for the Swans, but there were a couple of great footy moments away from Subiaco.

Gary Ablett's goal from the pocket against Brisbane. 40m out, running the other way, in the rain and against a stiff cross-wind. Made it look easy.

Essendon's comeback against the Pies. The Bombers looked buried, then kicked 3 goals in the last five minutes, the last one on the run in the last five seconds by Zaharakis playing his fourth game. Brilliant. And the Pies lost.
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news

Highlights - Brett Kirk, Jude Bolton, Craig Bolton. Lowlights: 19 other Swans.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

    West Coast lost again.
I might have a slight drinking problem. My husband asked me to toast some bread for him...so I raised my wine glass and said "Here's to bread!"

    Collingwood Vs Essendon

Great game with a great result....

What's better than beating Collingwood by 10 goals?

Beating them by 3 points in the last 10 seconds after they were 15 points up with three minutes left.

Did anyone see that moron wearing a gold jacket per chance?? That would of made it all the sweeter.

After the upsets, I still managed to get four out of eight.
    Highlight.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Joffa hasn't done that for a couple of years now. Still in the Collingwood Cheer Squad though.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
