    Swans and pets' names

Thought we need a bit of cheering up today after yesterday.....mind you what did we expect really really deep down.....sooooooooThe Andrew Schauble thread in the other thingy made methink that I might name my next pet after him as he is such a favourite of mine. (I even made a thread in the sandpit when it was THE place to go on RWO about an imaginary meeting with him during my trip to France/Italy).

I have already got Plugger and Kelly.

There are obvious one's on our list at the moment such as:

    1. My next cat could be called Bird

    2. Vespa for a dog..preferably not a pit bull more your Maltese

    3. Pyke for a fish or is that too obvious.

Any other suggestions to brighten up my daughterless Mother's Day.

Just chased the neighbour"s chooks back through the whole in the fence.

Do we have anyone who runs around like a headless chook?

Only if you keep them on a tight leash.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

My daughter has a turtle called Frosty (has had it for a few years obviously) It only puts its head out of it's shell when it's completely safe.
