If confirmed, thanks for everything Leaping Leo! Great clubman and stalwart for the Swans.
The "Mark" will be forever remembered by all AFL fans, not just Swans.
Congrats on a very fine career.

ABC 702 just said that Leo is expected to announce his retirement this afternoon.
And they spoke about that mark and how the whole of Sydney was excited about the game and the premiership.
"Swans' Leo Barry set to retire

Veteran Sydney defender Leo Barry is expected to make an announcement on his AFL retirement at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Barry, 32, played his first senior match of an injury-plagued season last weekend in the Swans' narrow loss to Geelong.
He has played 235 matches in an AFL career which started in 1995 and will always be remembered for his spectacular mark in the dying seconds of the 2005 Grand Final to save the day for the Swans.
The Swans have called a press conference for Barry at 12.45 pm.

Thanks for the memories, the Premiership and the regular heart attacks Leo. You'll always be one of the most memorable Swans and you can be assured of a photo (the photo - maybe Harry Potter animated style) in the book for the club's 200th and 300th anniversaries.

Heard it also, was on ladder painting and bloody fell off, freakin paint everywhere!!!! Richard Feidler mentioned it, and that he was expected to announce in the next hour or so. Feidler spoke about the legendary mark of the millenium and that his family had been swans supporters for eons. I was there that day and witnessed said mark - one of the greatest moments of my life. Close second behind marriage, births etc. Soft I know! But in all seriousness, unless there is underlying injury concerns, I believe he has another very good and solid year of contribution under his belt!!!!
Go again Leapin', we need some stability and leadership in the backline during this transition phase.
Go one more year Leo. With LRT and B2 taking the top 2 forwards, you could easily beat the 3rd best forward of any team next year.
Aaaggghhh. Then again, one game out of twenty this year. Its not how he would want it. The back line is in good order. I believe he is making the right decision. Those legs of his are not going to last forever, and again, its all about timing. Go while the fans cry no, try not to wait until the door has been wedged open. And don't wait until your body is screaming.
Oh that mark.
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
If he chooses to go now I think it is a good thing. IMO he showed on Saturday night that he may be passed it. Pity, he was a very good player in his day.
Does God believe in Atheists?
Now official. He will hang up the boots at the end of the year.

The Roos quote brought a tear to my eye:
?He is truly one of the great gentlemen and family men of the game.
?As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them.
?This he did with his fantastic athleticism but most importantly, an incredible self belief and desire to be the best player he could possibly be."
Can we call him "Leaving Leo Barry" now?
Leo and MOL - possibly my two favourites. Brumbies here I come?
Congrats on a fantastic career, and thanks for many awesome footy memories. The bloke who saved us the 2005 premiership!
