    University of Footy Coaching

    What next?

I hope they get HG to teach the three-quarter time spray.

Frank Sinatra?s classic New York, New York is on the shortlist for the new Gold Coast team?s song and club officials are excited by the prospect of having thousands of fans singing: "It?s up to you Gold Coast, Gold Coast."

Definately HG for the 3/4 time spray & Roy's old coach Grassy Reynolds, to teach the boys how to stick up for themselves and to always apologise when you accidentally kill an opposition player during a match. I also beleive that other legend from the LIthgow Shamrocks, Stomper Steynes will be asked to lecture on the finer points of Mad Monday.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Here it is! I found HG's 3/4 time spray, delivered by Bluey "Chooka" Fowler. Must go in the book of all-time great Australian speeches.

Have you lot forgotten that Australians died at Gallipoli so we could play our game in freedom? Are you even listening to me, Nelson? You think this is funny, do you? Have you actually got something to contribute, Sonny Jim? No? I thought not! Why don?t you shut up! If I was you, buddy, I would let my football do the talking!
