Thanks for your second innings Primmy - another good read. And in view of the mixed reactions to John Longmire's appointment it is very reassuring to note this bit and recall how Paul Roos came to be appointed.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Brilliant, thanks Primmy. Love the comments about your observations of the players personal feelings toward the club, made it a feel good Sunday afternoon!

Don't know what happened to Barlow, but DOK had a bereavement in the family during the week.

Think I read somewhere that Barlow had a post season op - knee I think. So maybe he's recuperating somewhere.

    Well done ROK.

    He obviously doesn't read RWO.
THE SYDNEY Swans? newly anointed club champion, Ryan O?Keefe, says he?s grateful to the supporters who welcomed him with open arms after his failed bid to return to Melbourne.

Good night. But seriously, they need to have a look at how the votes are awarded. Just so random. Up to 50 votes for as many players as they want?? Come on. In some games there was 14 or more players receiving votes. In others, 6 or less. Way to incionsistent and way to open for "interpretation" by those voting.

    Interpretation - See Coaches pets....
