I hope we lose the first round (tongue firmly in cheek).
That we may get to see a pre-season game in Melbourne.

The NAB Cup is of low importance for sure, but I would imagine there would be an improved showing.
- A lot of the "older bodies" that tend to be rested have been put out to pasture
- Those that played full seasons in 2009 with the club have had a longer break due to lack of finals so will be better prepared for a hit out early on.
There are a number of new blokes to try and slot into the team which could work both ways. I guess the line up will be pretty experimental, but blokes will be competing for spots so I daresay there will be a fair level of endeavour.
I reckon we'll beat the Blues!

I know the Fairfax HQ is a long way from Rooty Hill but surely
1. An updated pic shouldn't be too hard to organise
2. It's Back to the Future for Team GWS for 2002!!!!
LOL, if Roos doesnt win this one he will have never won a NAB cup game as coach.
Going on past performances this wouldn't worry him at all, so I for one will not have any great expectations. Roosy has always used the pre-seaon comp as trial games and giving the reserves and new recruits game time to assess their performances. In this respect I will also look forward to seeing these players in action. It should be noted that Roosy aim is for a round 1 victory and next year if the team defeats the Saints the win will be very, very sweet indeed.
I'd love to go but its the same night as the AC/DC concert at ANZ that I'm going to.
