    2009 Rate a Season: #21 Leo Barry

I know you want to ...
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

You can't rate the man who marked the premiership cup for us anything less than a 10 in the year he retires.

I'm gunna miss the decision making skills of Leo Barry!!

    2.

But only beacuse he was twice as good as Ablett.

Didn't really play enough games to get into the rythym to be fair but the games he did play were pretty ordinary. Might of been a different story had he played a whole season.

Yep, thought he showed the signs in '08. Probably a bonus that he was injured for the bulk of the year as it allowed Grundy to play a role down back.

    3. A great player for the club for many years. Short as me, but very often beat some of the best key forwards of the last 10 years.

Yes - one season too many.

Why he played the last 3 games is a mystery
Should've given way to a few more youngsters
Anyway doesn't matter now as JC is on his way
    cheers

    Leo Barry You Star!!!!!

Thanks for everything you have given us over more than a decade - you will always be remembered as one of our 22 heroes - and right at the top end of them.

It was a massive shame about this season with the injuries, for which I gave a 2, plus 3 for the emotional moments in round 22 and another 5 for simply being a hero.
