I was excited by his ability to change his kicking for goal. He has obviously worked hard on it and no longers keeps practising the same old incorrect style .

Have always liked his endeavour and will never forget his tackle of the dog in the Irish game plus the sound his tackle made over there at Subiaco when Palmer did his cruciate. "See ya next year Palmer"

That's such an accurate description of our (years past) midfield!

7 plus 1 for being such a top sort. Tailed off toward the end of the season but definitely one of his best seasons.

Fave player. Has been solid, loyal, reliable and has got the best out of himself pretty much every year (apart from one downer - and even that was only relative to his own high standards). This year was among his best.

On field and off he's all class.

    oops I hit 6 instead of 7.

I think he has been integral in holding the fort but he could be a little limited in different game plans. ie his hand passing and decision making is a little stilted in comparison Kirk, McVeigh, ROK........but will take over Kirks role for another season or two past end of 2010

tackling, grit and pressure on the ball are his hall marks and we will need these even more so if Mumford and co struggle on the clearances.

BUT he and McVeigh will be under serious pressure if our desire to use dominant young wingers.........and if Hannebery also becomes very comfortable in the middle 4..........

The big IF's are Jetta and Hannebery bring their game and it simply demands them starting in the middle 6 players and not used in the HF line so much

I'm starting to think you only go to the football for a perve

If you want to teach a young kid about keeping your head over the ball - show him footage of Jude Bolton.

    A much improved season - 8.

A much improved performance in 2009. Its good to see what he can do when he's not hampered by injuries. (Well not as many injuries)

One of the toughest ball players on our team. Never flinches, never does the pretty flashy stuff, just puts his head over the footy and gets the job done.

    Funny.

I put a curse on Josh Thomas for giving him a black eye at the Homebush game.

I think he got injured later in the season.

Who said my evil eye was broken?
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
