Why don't they just put age and be done with it.
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness..

    • Craig Bird has re-injured his foot. His season is over.
    • Ed Barlow is uncontracted and injured again...not looking good for the pre-season specialist.
    • Shane Mumford is a worry, will the fans see him play during the AFL finals series?
    • Lewis Roberts-Thomson is back to 2-3 weeks, has the big fella re-injured himself?

Means season is over for LRT. Gets rid of one more selection problem (ie to drop Ted or not to drop Ted - we do now need to keep every finger, toe and any other available "digit" crossed that neither Reg nor Ted have any mishaps over the next month).

Bradshaw and McGlynn (on top of Moore and ROK) seem the only players who didn't play last weekend with any kind of chance of playing senior footy this year, unless we run out of available players and someone like MOD, Vez or Reid comes in as a last resort.

LRT was sitting just behind me in the Ladies Stand on Sat nite...looked fine, but I wasn't brave enough to ask him re his injury...now I wish I had.

Only players i can see making it back into the team are Bradshaw, Mumford and hopefully McGlynn.

    Hannebery, Kennelly, Meredith TEST

    RTTF OPINIONS, RUMOURS & FACTS
    • Kristin Thornton is still "test" on the official site. Let's hope this feisty little man has an opportunity to show his stuff in the ACT Canberra Finals Series starting this week.
    • Shane Mumford has made "remarkable" progress. The fact that he was able to fly last week may indicate that he will play Carlton (subject to a fitness test).
    • Brett Meredith; I'm inclined to believe he will dropped and his "injury" enables him to save face.
    • Dan Hannebery was rested last week as a precautionary measure and should be good to go V Carlton.
    • Tadgh Kennelly is 50/50. His finals experience and leadership would come in handy this week, however, the backline was pretty settled last week (albeit against a weak forward line) so his inclusion may be depend on how far the selectors feel the Swans can travel this finals series.
    • Ed Barlow is uncontracted and still injured...not looking good for the pre-season specialist.
    • Lewis Roberts-Thomson is miraculously back to 1 week. Is a surprise appearance in the offing during the finals series?
    • Ben McGlynn has started training again, it's possible that he will make an appearance during the finals series.
    • Craig Bird has re-injured his foot. His season is over.
    • Craig Bolton will not play again this season.
    • The status of Daniel Bradshaw is unknown and subject to intense speculation. This week it could be announced that he will retire, have surgery, play in the Reserves or line up against Carlton.....let the fun begin!

    Craig Bolton Achilles season
    Craig Bird Foot season
    Lewis Roberts-ThomsonHamstring 1 week

Players in bold have played Seniors in 2010

    # Ed Barlow is apparently fit to play Reserves this week, but may not for off-field reasons. This is quite possibly his last year wearing the Red and White.
    # Lewis Roberts-Thomson remains on 1 week. There is a rumour that he will be available to play in the next Reserves Finals match this weekend in Canberra.
    # Ben McGlynn is training again. His body appears to be in good nick, but his cheekbone is still fragile and it is difficult to gauge if injury trauma will affect his mental ability to play finals footy. Keep your fingers crossed for this pocket dynamo.
    # Ryan O'Keefe is carrying an injury that is noticeably restricting his performance. You have to wonder after last weeks physically draining game, if the selectors bite the bullet and opt to replace him.
    # Craig Bird has re-injured his foot. His season is over.
    # Craig Bolton will not play again this season.
    # After two weeks playing in the Reserves, it is possible that Daniel Bradshaw could make a Seniors appearance this week.

Healing not sure, but if it was during season, would be in cotton wool for @ least 3-6 weeks.
